Foam Roll 101

Join Kenya Nettingham, owner of NBQ Fitness as he guides you through the basics of using a foam roll. Foam rolling can be useful to everyone to warm up muscles, keeping muscles and fascia lengthened and supple between workouts, relax tight muscles and adhesions and prevent injury.  Foam rolling is useful practice for all levels of athleticism to aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function. Normal function means your muscles are elastic, healthy, and ready to perform at a moment’s notice.

Please bring your own foam roll. We will have some foam rolls to share and will have some available for purchase.

Kenya is a master fitness instructor and personal trainer with 19 years experience. He has worked with NYC Sports Club, Philly Sports Club and owns NBQ Fitness in Ardmore. He also holds certifications in TRX, kettlebells, pre and post natal fitness, corrective and upper back exercises and more.
